Education:   Dr. Bertoch is a long time Tampa resident graduating from Plant High School in 1971. He attended Emory University in Atlanta Georgia from 1971-1975 receiving a bachelors in Science degree and from 1975-1979 Emory University School of Dentistry receiving a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree. Dr. Bertoch was the recipient of the "Moshy Scholastic Excellence Award" for his proficiency in clinical dentistry.  

Fellowships:  Dr. Bertoch has been honored with a number of Professional fellowships. "American College of Dentistry" awarded to only 4% of practicing dentists. International College of Dentist and the Pierri Fauchard Academy.

Service Awards:  Dr. Bertoch has received several service awards by the American ...... Association, Florida Dental Association, Hillsborough County Dental Association, Veterans Affairs and United Way.

Leadership: Past President of Hillsborough County Dental Research Group. Hillsbrough County Dental Association, Tampa Bay Rotary,  Past Board Member of Judeo Christian Clinic, Past Vice President of Pediatric Cancer Foundation

Personal: Dr. Bertoch has been married to his wife Kay for 27 years. He has two children, daughter Dana, a nurse, and Cody, a senior at Cambridge Christian School. The family attends Van Dyke United Medothidist Church.

 

Dr. Bertoch attended Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he earned his B.S. in Biology in Dentistry in 1975 and his D.D.S in 1979.  He is licensed to practice dentistry in the states of Florida and Georgia.  To maintain up-to-the-minute skills and knowledge in the field of heath care, he also devotes many hours annually to continuing education.

Dr. Bertoch has been actively involved at the national, state, and local levels during his entire professional career.  A member and supporter of numerous professional and charitable organization including the Academy of General Dentistry, Florida Dental Association, and West Coast Dental Association;he currently serves as an Assistant Dental and Dental Hygiene Examination Supervisor for the Department of Health.

Dr. Bertoch lives in Carrollwood with his wife, Kay, and children, Dana and Cody.
